College of the EPPO appoints 7 more European Delegated Prosecutors, rejects 4
The College of the EPPO has this morning appointed seven European Delegated Prosecutors: three from Bulgaria, two from Croatia and two from Czechia. This brings the total number of appointed European Delegated Prosecutors to 40. -

Twelve countries have now sent us their proposed European Delegated Prosecutors
Just in: the five candidates from France to join the EPPO as European Delegated Prosecutors. Twelve countries (out of 22) have now sent us their candidates. Yet another step closer to the operational start of the European Public Prosecutor's Office. -

The Croatian Minister of Justice has sent us the names of the two proposed European Delegated Prosecutors (plus two additional names on a reserve list) for Croatia. We also received the names of two additional Czech candidates, in addition to the 3 Czech European Delegated Prosecutors already appointed earlier. -

Meeting between the Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council of Bulgaria and EPPO
The Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council of Bulgaria held an online working meeting with the European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövesi, in connection with the procedure for selection of European Delegated Prosecutors. -

Belgium sends candidate to become European Delegated Prosecutor
The European Chief Prosecutor has received the name of the first proposed candidate for the position of European Delegated Prosecutor from the Belgian Minister for Justice. A call for candidates has been launched to select the second candidate, and we look forward to receiving this name soon. Belgium is now the tenth country to have sent us at least one candidate European Delegated Prosecutor. -

Portugal sends candidates for European Delegated Prosecutor
We have received from the Portuguese Minister of Justice the names of the four candidates to join the EPPO team as European Delegated Prosecutor. Portugal is the ninth country to send us their candidates. We are looking forward to receive more names soon and start operations. -

Eurojust and EPPO sign Working Arrangement to facilitate cooperation
Eurojust and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) have signed a Working Arrangement laying out the detailed practical modalities of their cooperation in the fight against crimes affecting the European Union’s financial interests. The Arrangement was signed by European Chief Prosecutor Ms Laura Kövesi and Eurojust President Mr Ladislav Hamran in their respective headquarters in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. -

Visit of Prosecutor General of Ukraine
Today, the first visit of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ms Venediktova, to the EPPO headquarters in Luxembourg took place. We discussed possible future cooperation and offered our support to Ukrainian prosecutors, in terms of training and the exchange of expertise and information.
