Two arrested in Croatia on suspicion of unlawful favouritism

Today, the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Zagreb is conducting urgent evidence-collecting activities, in cooperation with the Zagreb Police Department.

The activities relate to two persons suspected of unlawful favouritism and incitement to unlawful favouritism regarding a public procurement call by the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) for a project funded by the EU.

The EPPO will, after questioning the suspects, make a decision on further actions in the case and communicate in due time. Until then, no further details will be released.

 

 

Dvije osobe uhićene zbog sumnje na nezakonito pogodovanje

Ured europskog javnog tužitelja u suradnji s Policijskom upravom zagrebačkom provodi hitne dokazne radnje danas, 21. rujna 2022. godine, u Hrvatskoj.

Navedene radnje odnose se na dvije osobe za koje se sumnja da su počinile kaznena djela nezakonitog pogodovanja i poticanja na nezakonito pogodovanje vezano uz javnu nabavu usluga putem Hrvatske agencije za malo gospodarstvo, inovacije i investicije (HAMAG-BICRO) za projekt  financiran sredstvima EU.

Ured europskog javnog tužitelja će nakon ispitivanja osumnjičenika donijeti odluku o daljnjem postupanju u predmetnom slučaju o čemu će pravodobno obavijestiti javnost. Do tada neće biti objavljivane nikakve dodatne pojedinosti.
