EPPO concludes working arrangement with the State Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of North Macedonia

The European Chief Prosecutor, Laura Codruța Kövesi, and the State Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ljubomir Joveski, have signed a working arrangement today between the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) and the State Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The aim of this agreement is to facilitate cooperation and exchange of information between the EPPO and the State Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of North Macedonia, in order to ensure effective investigation and prosecution of crimes against the European Union’s budget.

The strengthened judicial cooperation between the parties will help to protect the financial interests of the European Union and of the Republic of North Macedonia.
