This week, Bulgaria’s Minister of Interior, Mr Kalin Stoyanov, and European Chief Prosecutor, Laura Codruța Kӧvesi signed a working arrangement with the aim to improve the cooperation between the European Delegated Prosecutors and Bulgaria’s Ministry of Interior in the investigations of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office’s (EPPO). Concretely, Bulgaria’s General Directorate of the National Police (Главна Дирекция Национална Полиция) and Bulgaria’s General Directorate for Combating Organised Crime (Главна Дирекция Борба с организираната престъпност) will designate police officers to work exclusively on EPPO investigations.
