Commission's Decision (EU) 2026/1701 confirmed the participation of Hungary in the enhanced cooperation on the establishment of the EPPO. Hungary officially became a participating Member State of the EPPO on Sunday, 2 August 2026.The EPPO will become operational in Hungary as from the twentieth day of the appointment of the European Prosecutor.
