Traineeship for the Digital Services Unit

The EPPO is seeking applications for the position of traineeship for the Digital Services Unit.

Reporting directly to the Head of the Digital Services Unit, your duties will include:

• Contributing to the mapping and analysis of ongoing and planned digital initiatives across sectors and domains.
• Supporting the coordination and monitoring of project progress, risks, interdependencies, and resource allocation.
• Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of portfolio governance processes, reporting tools, and performance indicators.
• Analysing business needs and identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Performing market research on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions or reusable components offered by EU institutions.
• Helping design and assess proof-of-concept initiatives, particularly in areas such as data analytics, intelligent automation, and digital assistants.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and sector leads to collect requirements, validate concepts, and ensure user-centric solution design.
• Contributing to planning and communication activities, including briefings and documentation for internal and executive stakeholders.
• Planning, communicating, coordinating and executing tasks in collaboration with the wider sector and the business stakeholders.
