The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) is seeking applications for the position of Trainee in the Data Protection Office (DPO)

As a trainee in the Data Protection Office, you will have a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in a prosecution office, applying theoretical knowledge of data protection in practical terms and real-world scenarios.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Reporting directly to the Head of the Data Protection Office, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting in the creation and updating of EPPO operational processes in the Member States.
• Assisting in the creation and mapping of data flows of the EPPO, in the context of IT autonomy.
• Conducting research into core questions related to the EPPO’s legal framework, including the implementation of the LED in Member States, variations in national applications, the relationship between data protection laws and criminal procedural rules within the hierarchy of norms, best practices in law
