European Prosecutor
Tanja Frank Eler was previously a European Delegated Prosecutor. She began her career as a judge and later became a state prosecutor in 2007. She was appointed to the Specialised State Prosecutor's Office in 2014. In that capacity, she was also a member of the Slovenian delegation to the MONEYVAL and an evaluator of effectiveness of measures of money laundering and terrorist financing prevention.
She specialised in the prosecution of economic and organised crime, international cooperation, and the seizure of illicit assets. She also acquired experience working with international organisations, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the Economic Crime and Cooperation Division of the Council of Europe.
