European Prosecutor
Martin Bresman has been a prosecutor since 2001 and for 20 years he has been specialising in economic crimes and anti-corruption. He has extensive experience in investigating organised crime and international cooperation as a Senior Public Prosecutor from the Swedish Economic Crime Authority in Stockholm, the National Unit against International and Organised Crime and the National Anti-Corruption Unit. He was Chief Public Prosecutor and Head of the National Anti-Corruption Unit when, in December 2024, he was appointed European Prosecutor for Sweden by the Council of the EU.
