(Luxembourg, 1 September 2023) – The European Chief Prosecutor, Laura Codruța Kövesi, and the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Denmark, Peter Hummelgaard, signed a working arrangement on the cooperation between the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) and the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The purpose of this working arrangement is to facilitate judicial cooperation in criminal matters and exchange of information between the parties.
This working arrangement is the second one that the EPPO concludes with a national competent authority of a non-participating EU Member State and you can find the full text of it here. Thanks to this strengthened partnership, the sharing of strategic information and concrete operational cooperation will improve the protection of EU financial interests.
